This course also explores the direct link between recognizing our emotions and maximizing our ability to de-escalate ourselves and others.  EI is a leadership and life skill that will positively impact all aspects of the employee’s life if practiced and developed.

    The ability and courage to have hard conversations is a core skill for any successful leader.  While often viewed as a challenging aspect of leadership, this course emphasizes personal growth and opportunity for positive change resulting from possessing the courage, skills, and ability to lean into difficult conversations.  This course will outline why we avoid having these crucial conversations and the potential adverse outcomes for the other party and organization by not doing so. This course will help your team understand the value of having hard conversations and provide them with proven skills to engage in them and produce positive results.

     Experts say the average person will spend hours a week dealing with conflict; for public service, that number skyrockets.  All too often, we fail to realize that choosing the right style of conflict resolution determines the success of the situation and paves the way forward.  This course will take the learner through the five primary forms of Conflict Resolution, highlighting the strengths and challenges of each style.  It will provide best practices in conflict-oriented situations and help the learner be more skilled and comfortable in determining the appropriate time and methodology for confronting, navigating, and alleviating conflict in their personal life and work.

    At the very root of leadership and personal growth lies accountability.  Often misunderstood and pointed to as the culprit in poor culture and leadership, this course takes a hard look at two primary types of accountabilities.  Personal and professional responsibilities are the focus of this offering.  The learner will explore the motivators for individual accountability and be presented with the tools necessary to take ownership of their path and outcomes.  The course will also focus on professional accountability and our role in organizational culture.  Exploring and emphasizing the employee owning a stake in the team’s success and understanding the foundational blocks that make teams perform at the highest levels.

  • As a certified Gallup Clifton Strengths Coach, our team of certified professionals will guide your team through an engaging and interactive workshop that highlights their individual leadership strengths and helps them leverage these strengths to excel in their roles. Leading with individual strengths has been shown to boost morale, job performance, satisfaction, and overall wellness. This course requires an assessment to be completed beforehand and will provide your staff with a roadmap for excelling within their leadership strengths.
